Owner & Founder, Island Skin Spa

Chelsa is a Licensed Aesthetician with over two decades of experience and a deep passion for skincare and wellness. After earning her Aesthetic license in Florida in 2002, she continued to grow professionally, becoming a Certified Clinical Aesthetician in 2005 and a Certified Medical Assistant in Guam in 2012.

Driven by her commitment to quality and innovation, Chelsa founded Island Skin Spa in 2012 with the goal of offering treatments tailored specifically to the needs of her clients. Each service is thoughtfully developed by Chelsa and personally taught to her team, ensuring consistency, safety, and exceptional results.

Thanks to her dedication and hands-on approach, Island Skin Spa has earned a loyal following and become one of Guam’s most trusted destinations for skin and body care.

Chelsa's Paternal Grandmother Lois Scruggs, moved to Guam right after WW2 with her adopted Family, the Blakely's who were in the Merchant Marines. Lois at the age of 18, met Frank Chester who was in the Civil Aeronautics Association. They had two children, including Chelsa's dad, Gary Chester, who still lives on Island. Gary met Chelsa's mom Diana when her Maternal Grandmother moved to Guam with Navy.

Lois started the first Charter Fishermans's business in Guam, the Lois Ann, in Merizo. Lois and family resided in Meroizo, builiding the what is now the Merizo Seaside BnB. Lois is also a published Author of the book, Afterthoughts, and is featured in the locally published book, "Guam through our Eyes", feautured as a Poet from Merizo.
